Reggae/Dancehall artiste Andre Bernard aka Jahfrica/Gan-Jahfrica was born on January 3rd, 1984 and raised in the heart of Kingston, Jamaica.  Although he grew up around crime and violence he did not allow it to distract him, music was always his passion and it helped guide him through.  He used music as an instrument to express himself and voice his views on society, the lifestyle and the effects of being a victim of a corrupted system.

Jahfrica attended Vauxhall Comprehensive High but once he finished he made music a priority in his life.  Jahfrica's main inspiration comes from the most-high Jah Rastafari Selassie I the first, and always will be.  It helped him through hard times so he set his mission to create music that would inspire listeners to live their dreams and trigger positive change for the younger generation.  Jahfrica has a vision; he wants the youth to grow up enjoying a better life than he experienced,  to live and learn about the many luxuries of life and to grow with an open mind.  His plan is to use his talent, his outstanding melodies, his sharp lyrics and strong vocals to deliver that deep emotional feeling that people can't seem to resist to accomplish this goal.

Jahfrica was given the opportunity to open for various artists including, Spragga Benz, Meek Mill, Wayne Wonder, I Octane, Baby Cham, Capleton and Mr. Pepper just to name a few, and the feedback has been remarkable.  Moments like these enouraged him to continue on his musical path.

Today, you can find Jahfrica touring throughout the United States with the Red Square Rebel Nation, a group led by dancehall icon Spragga Benz.  With hits songs like, "The Country A Mashup," "Like You," "Everyday," featuring J.O.E. from Equiknoxx Music and "Burning,"  Jahfrica, feels confident that his fans will love his upcoming projects expected to be released throughout the new year.  Jahfrica has so much more in store!  Stay updated by checking him out on his social networks.
